Another cyclone hits Odisha! Death toll reaches 34…

The tropical cyclone which hit Khorda district and its capital city Bhubaneswar untimely with far greater intensity than which was anticipated. Electricity poles were snapped, which brought down massive cranes and trees, that carried the fiberglass dome at AIIMS off with it as well as the railway’s station’s roof, also damaged the Biju Patnaik International Airport and also turned cars turtle inside a city showroom.

Also, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Odisha on May 6, announced relief fund of Rs.1000 crore after an aerial survey of the affected area with chief minister Naveen Patnaik. All the 48 fire services units which comprise of 350 firefighters are busy removing trees and restoring the access to every part of the city.
